Parks and Recreation Night at T.R. Hughes Ballpark

Kick off summer on Sunday, May 20, at T.R. Hughes Ballpark as the River City Rascals take on the Rockford RiverHawks. The extra festivites began at 4 p.m. with games, demonstrations, special seating and a buffet. Call 636-474-2REC (2732) to purchase tickets or learn more online.

In addition, O'Fallon Parks and Recreation is hosting a contest for an individual or group to sing the National Anthem before the game and at the start of the RSC 5K! Contest rules are simple: upload a 2-minute video to YouTube showcasing your singing talents. Then, email your name, address, phone and YouTube link to renaudspiritcenter@ofallon.mo.us by April 30. On May 2, the winner be announced.

Private basketball lessons at the RSC

Sessions are available to both boys and girls seven years and older. Lessons will include footwork, ball handling, shooting, rebounding and much more.

Instuctor Jamal Thompson is the JV girls coach for Fort Zumwalt South HS, and was an All-Conference player and collegiate athlete. More details and pricing (PDF).

Renaud Spirit Center Summer Break Memberships for high school and college students
If you're a student with a current student ID, you can enjoy swimming, fitness center workouts and more with an RSC Summer Membership. Memberships are good for any three consecutive months between April 9 and September 2, 2012. Cost is $114 for residents or $127 for non-residents, and must be paid in full.
