Fitness Center Rules

  • Ages 8 and under are not allowed in the fitness center and may NOT utilize the cardio, strength, free weight equipment or track
  • Ages 9-15 may only utilize the track and must have immediate supervision at all times (an adult must be on the track with them).
  • Ages 12-15 who have successfully completed the weight room orientation can utilize the track and the fitness area by themselves (they must wear a wristband from the front desk at all times).
  • Appropriate attire must be worn at all times.
  • No bare feet or open toe shoes are allowed. Appropriate athletic footwear must be worn at all times.
  • Please re-rack all free weights and dumbbells after you have finished using them.
  • When using the strength training equipment, please allow others to use equipment between sets.
  • Please do not slam or drop free weights on the floor during your workout.
  • Please wipe down each piece of equipment after you have used it.
  • Please limit your time on the cardiovascular equipment to the designated times when others are waiting to use this equipment. 30 minutes is your maximum allotted time per piece of equipment. You may be asked to move to another piece of equipment if you go over this allotted time.  Time slots will not be held.  Please remember to sign-up on the board. If you do sign-up you are risking being asked to move to another piece of equipment.
  • No food, including gum, is allowed in the Fitness Center. Water/beverages should be placed in spill proof or re-sealable containers with the lids secured at all times.
