RSC Challenge Run

Friday, June 1, 2018
Renaud Spirit Center

Race at 7 p.m. • Movie, The LEGO Ninjago Movie, at 8 p.m.

Sign up for this great family-friendly obstacle run! This year’s race gets off the blocks with a 1-mile out-and-back run with a twist, followed by a series of back-to-back obstacles including an army crawl, tire run and a bale climb, to name a few! To accommodate various strengths and abilities, the race features a separate set of obstacles for kids and adults.

If an obstacle seems too difficult you can go around. However, those who successfully complete all obstacles will receive a race medal at the finish line.

Race participants will be released in heats to avoid lines at the obstacles, and all participants reaching the finish line will receive a medal. The Challenge Run is not officially-timed and registration is limited to 300 competitors, so sign up early to save your spot. You’re guaranteed to have a lot of fun, get a little dusty and possibly even muddy.

Please note: Early registration for the Challenge Run ends on May 18, and a $5 fee will be charged for registration May 19 – May 31. On June 1, an additional $10 will be charged for race day registration, with online registration ending at noon on June 1. Swag includes a performance-fit shirt (more form-fitting than a regular T-shirt) in men’s, women’s and youth sizes. However, sizes are not guaranteed after May 18 and shirts are not guaranteed to race-day registrants, so please register early!

Have even more fun! Come early or stay after the Challenge Run and enjoy our Party on the Lawn with free entertainment for the whole family, including the annual "Movie in the Park" showing at approximately 8 p.m. Food will be available for purchase. Registration for the RSC Challenge Run is required, but admission is free for the entertainment and movie.
